General Enquiries How do I make a booking? Please click Book Now on our homepage to be redirected to our online booking portal. I have made a booking and need to cancel or amend the booking? Please call us on +971 58 5670730 or reply to your booking email confirmation and we will be happy to help you with any changes. The date I have requested to book online is not available? If your chosen date is in red this means that time slot is fully booked already. Please select an alternative date shown in green. Do I pay online or on arrival? Payment is made online via our payment portal at time of booking. Do you accept credit and debit card? Yes we accept all major credit and debit cards. We do not accept American Express. Do I need a change of clothes? All of our activities are water based so we recommend to always have a towel and change of clothes with you. Do you sell food? We have soft drinks and snacks available for purchase. Do you provide lockers? We have lockers on site available for rental. What happens if it rains? You will get wet! We still operate our activities, even in the rain. If the weather is too bad to continue we will call you as soon as possible to amend your booking with us. Do you have showers and changing rooms? Yes we have an outdoor area to rinse off your feet after your activities and indoor changing rooms. Do you have Jet Skis? We do not have any motorised water sports. Do you do boat rides to the mangroves? We offer Mangrove Kayak Nature Tours and Electric Boat Tours to explore the Al Zorah Nature Reserve. We do not offer boat rides of the general area. May we camp overnight at your location? We do not offer any camping or accommodation at our location.

Mangrove Kayak Nature Tours What duration is a Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour? A Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour is for approximately 2 hours. Do I kayak for the whole 2 hours on a Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour? You will not be kayaking the whole time. You will spend approximately 1 hour kayaking in the mangroves. Do I need to paddle my own kayak? Yes. You will be given a paddling demo before you get onto your kayak and you will be accompanied by a guide, in their own kayak, for the duration of the tour. Can I go to the mangroves alone? The Al Zorah Nature Reserve is a protected area. You must be accompanied by a guide for the entire experience. Can my child come with me to the mangroves? Yes. Our Mangrove Kayak Nature Tours are suitable from aged 4 and your child will be placed in a kayak with you. Do you use single, double or triple kayaks? We use double kayaks normally. If you are a group of two adults and one child we may recommend a triple kayak to place you all together. Is the price per person or per boat? Prices are per person. Will we see flamingos when we are in the mangroves? We cannot guarantee you will see flamingos as they are wild birds and the lagoon is a tidal area, however your chances are good on a higher tide. Please feel free to check with us before you make your booking and we can tell you which tour time is the higher tide. Will I fall in to the water from my kayak? Our sit on top kayaks are very stable however there is still a small risk you may fall out. Remain in the centre of the kayak and do not lean very far to one side and you should be fine. Can I take my mobile phone with me to the mangroves? We do not recommend taking your mobile phone with you to the mangroves unless it is safely inside a waterproof case that you can wear around your neck. We offer waterproof phone cases for purchase that you can use while on tour. What do I need to take with me for a Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour? We recommend you bring a towel and change of clothes for afterwards, sunscreen and a sun hat. Do you provide water? Yes, we provide filtered water for complimentary refills if you have your own reusable water bottle with you. I am pregnant, can I still go on a Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour? Yes you can still join on a Mangrove Tour. You must be comfortable to sit on a kayak for at least one hour and be confident that you can climb back into the kayak in case you do fall out. Do I have to wear a buoyancy aid? Yes. It is compulsory to wear a buoyancy aid for the entire experience. Is there a minimum or maximum weight or size limit for kayaking? Yes. You must be able to fit into our buoyancy aids to participate in the Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour. Minimum age for children is from age 4, and maximum weight/size is approximately 120 - 130Kgs. Can my children go alone on a Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour? All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult.

Electric Boat Tour How many people can go together on an Electric Boat Tour? Each boat can take up to 10 adults. Can my child join me? Yes of course. Our Electric Boat Tours are suitable from age 4. What is the difference between a Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour and an Electric Boat Tour? On our Mangrove Kayak Nature Tours we use kayaks to explore the Nature Reserve. On our Electric Boat Tour you remain inside the boat at all times, with your guide, to experience the mangrove forest. Do I need to wear a Buoyancy aid? Yes. It is compulsory for everyone to wear a buoyancy aid when they are near or on the water. Can I take my mobile phone with me? We do not recommend taking your mobile phone with you unless it is safely inside a waterproof case that you can wear around your neck. We offer waterproof phone cases for purchase that you can use while on the tour. Will I get wet? There is a possibility you may get a little wet from water splashes.

Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting What is the difference between a Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour and a Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting Tour? Mangrove Kayak Nature Tours are group tours offered at scheduled tour times to explore the Al Zorah Nature Reserve by kayak. A Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting Tour includes kayaking and also the addition of a tree planting experience which includes planting a mangrove sapling. ​How do I book a Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting Tour? Please contact us to enquire about timings and availability. ​Why cant I book a Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting Tour myself online? Due to the tidal changes in the Al Zorah Nature Reserve, it is only possible to plant close to a low tide which changes daily. Each enquiry is personalised depending on group size and preferred days to find a suitable time where planting is possible. Please contact us for more information. ​Do I need a minimum number of guests to book a Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting Tour? We require a minimum of 10 guests on each tour. What duration is a Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting Tour? A Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting Tour is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours in total. ​How many trees can we plant on a Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting Tour? One tree per person is included in this activity. You may purchase additional trees if you wish to plant more. Can my child come with me to the mangroves? Yes. Our planting tours are suitable from aged 8 and your child will be placed in a kayak with you. I am pregnant, can I still go on a Mangrove Kayaking and Tree Planting Tour? Yes you can still join however you must be comfortable to sit on a kayak for at least one hour and be confident that you can climb back into the kayak in case you do fall out. You must also be confident to walk up to 500m each way on muddy ground for planting. Is there a minimum or maximum weight or size limit for kayaking? Yes. You must be able to fit into our buoyancy aids to participate in the Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour. Minimum age for children is from age 8, and maximum weight/size is approximately 120 - 130Kgs.

Mangrove Kayaking and Beach Clean Up What is the difference between a Mangrove Kayak Nature Tour and a Mangrove Kayaking with Beach CleanUp Tour? Mangrove Kayak Nature Tours are group tours offered at scheduled tour times to explore the Al Zorah Nature Reserve by kayak. A Mangrove Kayaking and Beach CleanUp Tour includes kayaking and also the addition of a beach cleanup on the nearby public beach. How do I book a Mangrove Kayaking and Beach CleanUp Tour? Please contact us to enquire about timings and availability. ​Why cant I book a Mangrove Kayaking and Beach CleanUp Tour myself online? Each enquiry is personalised depending on group size and preferred days to find a suitable time where both Mangrove Kayaking and Beach CleanUp is possible. All equipment is provided for both the Kayaking and Beach CleanUp element of the experience. What happens the trash we collect from the beach? All trash will be weighed, sorted, disposed of correctly, and recycled where possible. Can my child come with me? Yes.
